For all you Justin Bieber Fans: we are just a few hour away from Justin Bieber's Birthday!!  "Happy B-Day".  In case you missed it or were too sick recently, that should be the only reason! lol, check out Justin's new movie.  If you are a die hard fan and simply cannot get enough of Bieberism...you must see this movie.  Soon!  We had mixed reviews amongst us about the movie.. well: boys always seem a little critical on the Bieber subject!  Have you noticed?  Or they jump on the Bieber wagon and cut their hair the same way... shmmm?  What happened to individuality?  Please, you stay you and let Justin be Justin.  That way, we are all happy :) Go see the movie.. often, soon.

So, in school everybody loves the new song: I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH.  It is totally hip and fresh and we all love it.  Can you believe Willow Smith is only NINE years old?  Wow!!!!!  We are posting a few videos, we found on You Tube, regarding Willow and her hair whipping song.  Please, enjoy!  You can find Willow's video and interview to the right side of this post.  Hopefully, we will score an interview with her in the future... until then.. Karate Kid, Movie Review

In the movie, Karate Kid (which, BTW, was just released on Netflix), Dre Parker(Jaden Smith) and his mom move to China, Bejing to be exact, since Dre's mom was transferred there for her job. Every thing's perfect, right? WRONG! Not after Dre gets into a fight, over a girl he had met, at the park! After that, there was nothing but trouble! Well, until the maintenance man, Mr. Hahn (Jackie Chan), teaches him the arts of Kung Fu.  At first, he did not understand the ways Mr. Hahn was teaching him.  Just as he is willing to throw in the towel and forget about it all.... it sinks in.  Everything comes together and he understands and feels the true power of self control, techniqueche and how it ties into life, his life.  He finds an inner strength which helps him deal with his newly found living situation, new friends and seeming enemies.  This movie has good laughs, awesome Kung Fu action, a tiny bit of kid-romance and a great message.  Overall, ALL thumbs up! :  as Siskel and Ebert would say   :)

PS: Jaden is .... well, blushing, fantastic in this roll.  Though i thought it was a bit odd that people wanted to touch his hair.  Wonder if people keep asking him to touch his hair.. after this movie.  I suppose so, after all, he is a Smith and that family rocks.. on all stages. Grinning....
also, talking about hair: the 'girlfriend' in this movies who studies very hard and all the time, please note, has a funky hair-do.  I thought those hair cuts were for famous people and animation characters. Actually, the young lady really rocked that hair cut.  Not bad at all.  Hmmmmm:  did that possibly start a new trend?
  ..  I whip my hair back and forth .. I whip my hair b.....  LOL... the Smiths.. awesome I tell you.

I came across an article that might interest you as well.  Athletes are often involved with many other things besides sports.  They give their all while playing and find time to help raise awareness with environment issues and solutions.  We will post it just as it was posted in Nickelodeon Magazine ...  The title is:

Nickelodeon Magazine went one-on-one with basketball superstar and Big Green Help spokesperson LeBron James to ask him about being green, biking, and basketball.

Nick Mag: What are some of the green habits that you have taken up in the last few years?
LeBron James: I have become aware of all the little things I can do to help the environment, like turning off the lights when I leave the house, turning off the car when I am waiting for someone, and turning off the water while i am brushing my teeth.

Nick Mag: What is one thing you wish everyone would do for the environment?
LeBron James: Try not to drive everywhere.  Take a bus, carpool, or best of all, ride a bike.

NickMag:  Are you bicycling more now?
LeBron James:  Yes.  Instead of getting in the car with my kids, LeBron Jr. and Bryce, to do something fun, we just hop on our bikes and go for a ride.

Nick Mag:  Can you do any tricks on a bike?
LeBron James:  Riding with no hands.  But I always wear a helmet, and you should, too.

Nick Mag:  Does bicycling help your performance on the basketball court?
LeBron James:  Definitely.  Bike riding helps my endurance and stamina, which is especially important during the fourth quarter of tough games.

Nick Mag:  What is one thing kids can do to make the world greener?
LeBron James:  Don't let the water run when you brush your teeth - just turn it off.  this saves lots of water - about five gallons a day.

Nick Mag:  What is your favorite green-colored thing?
LeBron James:  My high school basketball jersey.

By the way: have you noticed what he said about turning the water off while brushing our teeth?  That is a really good suggestion.  I noticed that in the movie : Karate Kid, with Jayden Smith, they had something like that as well.  There was an on/off switch for the hot water in the bathroom.  That saves a lot of energy as the water heater will not have to constantly heat up the water.  You will use what you need, only.  Not a bad idea, what do you think?  Write us and tell us what you think!

Monter High- Where Freaky Just Got Fabulous!

 Knock knock. Who's there? Monster High. Monster who? No, no, no, Monster "High"! As in the  book! Ugh! Hey peoplez! Here is a new book that will blow your minds... MONSTER HIGH!(Well of course you know that! You know, telling from my little introduction there! :p) Monster High, is awesome! It puts an interesting twist in our minds about monsters! This book is about two girls; Frankie Stein,(whom is the grandaughter of Frankenstein, duh!), and Melony Carver,(a teen girl who finds herself, falling for a person who "technically" is, kind of..., a monster!) This story informs us about what goes on with each of the characters, from their point of view. Only to find each other coming together in their fight to protect one another and for love.Which is over the same guy! Well, kind of! I mean, it's the same boy but, he turns into anther person. So, basically it's two people in one boy. Well, that makes him: three people? Anyway, this book is really nice for kids who like something weird, strange, or awesome to read! The author, Lisi Harrison, is quite the writer! (Wow, I just noticed on most of my sentences exclamation points on them(!) :p That just shows you how much i love this book(!) :p I read it four times.) Thanks for reading! Bye!

Pyaar Impossible - The Bollywood Movie

Hey! Dr. Reeses Pieces in da house, writ'in da review! So, anywho, a few days ago, as I was casually playing the "Sims 2", my mom had asked me watch a movie with her. Even though after a few minutes she had left, I continued to watch the movie. It was very interesting, actually! I've always thought that movies made in India were more, hmmmm... what's that word... "traditional". But this movie, was beyond traditional! (P.S., as I was writing this my mom flooded the bathroom.) LOL! :p  So, as I was saying, this movie was about two college students, (like I said, probably not made for kids), one of them was a complete nerd, (no offense if "you" are one! 'Cause, I'm one too! Just saying! :p), and the other was popular, rich, beautiful, loved by everyone on campus, shall I go on? Seven years later, the nerd, Abhay, is still in love with the popular chickie, Alisha. Mistaking Abhay as a nanny for her daughter, Alisha learns more about him. But the thing is, as Abhay lays hints, trying to tell her "she's" the one he likes, she never quite noticed that he was talking about her! Until she goes to a play her daughter was in. Which, BTW, Abhay had written. Which,again: BTW, was about how he loved her but he was too "nerdy" and didn't deserve her. And, how he saved her life seven years before. Then, all the pieces came together.This movie had awesome music, and more vibrant colors than most movies, (no offense!). This movie is, now, one of my favorites. Thanks a lot, Mom!!!!! :/   Not to mention:  now I run around singing the songs from the movie.  Totally contagious, my friends are singing them as well: humming them as well!!!! Ha

What to write about.....

Hmmmm.... enough ms, you think?  I think one of the first posts will be a movie review.  Hey Kiara! How r u?  Smiling.... anywho... we found this really cool movie.  My mom had found this Bollywood movie that is really different.  Aside the ongoing English/ Idian language switch we found this movie to be really neat.  Different actually... from the colors in the movie to the story and great music..... very nice and quite different.  In addition:  this movie had a truely positive message.  Although this might not have been intended for children... it was much fun to watch.  Next up... the actual review.  Keep reading... no really...!! Keep reading, please.

Hi! Who are we?  Well, we are a group of young kids wo decided to write about what we like.  Here we share our stories, thoughts, jokes, ideas, views, and more.  We actually have much bigger plans than just this site.  We are implementing an entire store... with fashion, jewels, gifts etc.  Everything is designed, written, thought up and shown here by us.  We were in search of something we like... something that represents what we really think and feel.  This is where you can find a magazine / store / brand made by us coming to you.  Everytime we wanted to buy a magazine in the store or went online our parents stopped us: " this is for much older kids"  "this is not appropriate"  "you should spent time reading something more you, dont you think?" .. is what they said and we heard.  So, here it is!  Our own online magazine.  Please feel free to participate.  We will have videos, stories and yes.... loads of contests as well!!!!!!!  We are off to a somewhat slow start... but- wait for it- it is a start.  Suppose things will get rolling soon... lol  Hey, take our poll.  We just put it in!  Who is your fav....?  We are looking for some awsome sports takes and stories as well... from our point of view.  If you have any, you can e-mail them to us to sek4u@writeme.com .  Actually, that applies to all your comments and ideas.  We welcome your input and your awsomeness can get displayed here in our online mag.  Over the next few weeks and days these pages will fill up with extremely cool things and articles and pics.  Wait-one can hope!  LOL  Let us ask you... what do you like reading about.  E-mail us your ideas.
