POTATO CHIPS 1853
When a cranky customer at the Moon Lake Lodge in Saratoga Springs, New York, kept sending his fried potatoes back to the kitchen, insisting they were too soggy, the chef, Native American George Crum, decided to go a bit further. What followed made history - and great snacks! He cut the potatoes paper-thin and fried them till they were stiff. To his great surprise, everyone loved them.
Yum!!
