What is Kaboom?! And why? We were sitting at lunch in school and the guys kept saying 'Kaboom!'. Naturally we wanted to know what that meant. It took us a day to find out. Do you know what it means? lol Our friend joined us for lunch the following day. As soon as she sat down the 'Kabooms' started back up. This time we could not let it rest. We had to find out what that was code for! Strangely, it was connected to our friend. For the story sake... we will call her JLo... haha, no - no better name came to mind. Every time she moved the boys were saying 'Kaboom' loudly. So why would this be connected to JLo? We were on a mission. We asked the boys straight forward and after giving us the 'silent' treatment we put another friend up to getting the info from her boyfriend. That worked!! lol Surprisingly. The secret word meant for, lets call the boy PDiddy, PDiddy to ask Jlo out. PDiddy is quite popular and influential at our school. He knew all the girls would be heartbroken. So his 'entourage' used that code to support his effort to ask JLo out. You know, like: 'DO IT NOW!'. Nothing could move PDiddy to close the deal early. Later that day, another break time, word spread quickly.... You know- cell phone texts move fast- everybody 'Kaboomed'. My friend ran to me and started to pull me towards a smaller crowd, yelling 'KABOOM'. Finally, after two days of mystery, PDiddy had popped the question to JLo. They are now boyfriend and girlfriend. Wow, our own power couple!
