Ice Worlds

The poles at either end of the Earth are very cold -  which is why they are the least populated places on Earth.  Antarctica has stronger winds and is colder than the Arctic.  Even in the summer Antarctica's temperature rarely reaches above freezing.  During the winter the sun never rises and during the summer the sun never sets.
