THE THILO INTERVIEW
Thilo Berndt, the new teen pop sensation, was recently in Seattle Washington. He was part of a special group of talented kids who were invited to a seminar there. We caught up with him and asked him some questions. From your responses, letters and questions it has become quite clear that YOU are big Thilo fans. And again - you seem to cherish the hair! We get it.
Thilo shared with us that he also visited Vancouver. Wherever he goes, people seem to follow him and he is one of those artists you just can't pass up. Even during a regular shopping trip he gave a quick impromptu mini concert, with his sister. And we have the exclusive pictures!
Many of you compare him to Justin Bieber and or express how you like both of them. We did mention to Thilo that you asked if he would be open to record a song with Justin Bieber. And - @justinbieber please read!!! - he would love to. We have the notion that it would be a song which would not leave a dry eye in the building. #musiceuphoria !!! And, word has it that just maybe, Justin's Camp has taken notice of Thilo recently. Wouldn't it be dreamy to hear them sing together? Thilo is now working on his first CD and it may be finished by the end of the year. Though many of you let us know that you would like to purchase Thilo's music on iTunes it is not currently available. With a little luck this may change soon. Another question many of you asked was: does Thilo have a twitter account? A rumor was going around that Thilo indeed has a Twitter account and one even does exists. HOWEVER: Currently - to date - THILO HAS NO TWITTER ACCOUNT. When he will get one, and confirm so, we will let you know. Until then, you can follow Thilo on YouTube. Go ahead and subscribe to his channel.
We had so many questions that we decided to split this interview into two parts. Today, we will bring you the first set of questions.
What inspired you to start singing?
I guess my sister. She is two years older than me and she loves to sing as well. Singing always makes me feel good!
Have you been compared to Justin Bieber?
Yes, it happens from time to time. Honestly, I don't want to copy him. I want to do my own music, have my own style.
Do you wonder what your life would have been like, if you had not started singing?
It would be less funny, less interesting, less exciting. I do not want to imagine a live without music and singing.
Who would you like to sing a duet with?
Oh, there are a few: Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Josh Stone, Taylor Swift and why not Justin Bieber or maybe Jason Derulo.
Will you get a Twitter Account?
Yes, I will get an account soon.
Will you record a song soon which we can purchase on iTunes?
Hopefully by the end of this year.
What was the best about the seminar for talented kids in Seattle?
I went to a horror film set of a 15 year old director!
Are you ready to start a career in the USA as well?
I am thinking a lot about this and I like the idea.
What do you think of girls screaming and crying when they hear you sing?
At first it was very strange and somehow peculiar to me, but i get used to it.
Would you do/act/starr in an American movie?
Yes.
