The Great Plains

Great Plains are found on every continent except Antarctica.  They are huge stretches of that open ground covering more than a quarter of the land on earth and are covered in grass as not enough rain falls to support trees.  Nowhere else on Earth do you find such large gatherings of animals: 3 million caribou migrate across the North American tundra every year.
